Simply put, an altered book is an art object that has been created from an existing, printed book. 

The book is altered through whatever means and media the artist chooses. Turn a book into your own personal book art, art journal, new year planner, or any special expression of a shared recipes book, or as a way to preserve stories and images of ancestors for family gifts.  

Personalized mixed media and paper crafting including collage, embellishing, journaling, preserving memories, the options are endless.  Fran Wolf teaches you basic and intermediate creative techniques for unique altered books.

Cost $60

Materials Needed: Book should be at least 200 pages with a good binding. Bring those gel prints from the last classFran taught, perfect for the alterred book!! Bring any personal older pictures or recipes, papers misc paper bibits according to what you to include in your own altered book.
