Sunshine Lace Shawl with Rina Williams of North Star Lace

During this class students will begin a simple lace triangle shawl while practicing the following lace techniques of each different kind of stitch, and read a basic lace chart pattern.

Many people choose to make a doll size shawl in order to learn all of the techniques listed above; others may wish to work on a full-sized shawl which will take longer than the class allows.

This shawl is perfect for  hot summer days at the beach as a sun cover or just as is with a simple minimalist dress to make it look fancy.

Size:  32 in height by 71 in width finished.

Supplies needed:

• Yonkey Monkey bamboo tencel yarn , yellow color, 4-5 skeins
• 24-26 in circular needles, size 2 US (2.57 mm EU).
• Stitch markers, optional
• Measuring tape
